About Me

Originally from Atlanta, I moved to Nashville to start my practice in 2019. I graduated from Wheaton College with an M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and from Kennesaw State University with a B.S. in Psychology. I am licensed to practice counseling in the state of Tennessee both virtually and in person as an LPC-MHSP. I am also a member of the Tennessee Licensed Professional Counselors Association (TLPCA).

I have worked in various therapeutic settings including hospitals, schools, in-home services, and private practice. My belief is that at its core, counseling is about relationships. I am amazed by the beauty that is created when one is given the space to rest, be, and feel safe and valued. You have a voice in your life and a say in the steps you take, and my hope is that you can hear that voice more clearly than before. Broadly defined, my sessions are typically a combination of processing deeply while simultaneously equipping you with the skills to manage life in the present. My hope is that you are given the tools in counseling to be able to live life currently, to feel at peace with life in the past, and to more confidently walk through life in the future.

In the words of my favorite actor from my favorite movie, “Your future hasn’t been written yet. No one’s has! Your future is whatever you make it. So make it a good one!” - Doc Brown
